
My name is Kat Barnett and I have found my inner badass.
This was not something I was even aware that I was missing.
Yet in recent years I have discovered that I do have a badass side to me:
I have come to know that I am a confidant, able-bodied, strong woman.
Badass: The Definition
What do I mean when I say I’ve found my inner badass? Badass means:
- empowerment
- a level of confidence
- a frame of mind that means strength and vitality
- the ability to handle difficult situations with astounding level-
headedness
Being able to raise a family, care for a home, juggle a job and preparing
healthy meals in between all while maintaining order, staying cool and
collected and finding joy in the process. Badass means having the energy,
stamina and vigor to face the day and any challenges it throws at you. And
if you look good while doing so … well, all the better!
How to Find Your Inner Badass
So how does one find their inner badass and all this vitality and stamina?
Through good health.
Three things equate good health:
- exercising regularly
- eating the right foods
- finding joy
I am a single mom to two whom I home school. I own my own fitness
business meeting with several clients daily. I have two
naughty cats, a dog and we are regular hikers and beach goers so as you can imagine I’m
constantly dealing with messes. I rise every morning before dawn and
get my exercise done. I greet my children with a gigantic smile and hugs
and spend time each day finding joy in the seemingly small and
insignificant occurrences in day to day life. I enjoy eating healthy and
spending time in nature.
This is my inner badass.
